Why Do I Sell on Multiple Platforms?

Selling on multiple platforms is a smart move for any entrepreneur looking to boost their business. Think of it as creating a safety net: if one platform isn’t performing as well as you’d hoped, you’ve got others to fall back on. This way, you’re not putting all your eggs in one basket, which can be a real lifesaver during slow periods.

Plus, when you diversify your selling platforms, you open up the opportunity to offer different types of products. Whether you're selling handmade crafts on Etsy, tech gadgets on Amazon or Ebay, or clothes you no longer wear on Poshmark, having various platforms allows you to showcase your range and attract a broader audience.

Speaking of audiences, selling across multiple platforms lets you target different customer segments effectively. Each platform has its unique demographic—what works for one might not resonate with another. By spreading your presence out there, you're increasing your chances of reaching potential buyers who are just waiting for what you've got to offer!

Currently I sell handmade items on Etsy, vintage items and things around the house I no longer need or that were in my gift shop on Ebay, Poshmark, and Mercari.  My shop names on these platforms is Hidden Ridge Road, like my jewelry and vintage shop on Etsy.

Please visit these shops.  There's a great chance I'll have something you want!
